Description:
Explore Barcelona’s oldest neighborhoods by a futuristic mode of transport on this 2-hour Segway tour of the Barrio Gotico and Barceloneta, driving down the Paseo Juan de Borbon to the old fishing district.
Following a short introduction on how to handle and drive the Segways, propelled following the motions of the human body, glide in small groups from the heart of the Gothic Quarter, descending through the sinuous streets of Barcelona’s oldest neighborhood, before arriving at the Paseo Colón.
Look up at the monument to Columbus at the end of Las Ramblas, before heading to Port Vell and the Palau de Mar. See the gleaming sugar-white yachts of the marina, and the modern Maremagnum complex of shops and restaurants.
Go down the Paseo Juan de Borbon to the quaint old fishing district of Barceloneta. From here you will follow the sea front of Barcelona, offering splendid views of the W Hotel and Olympic Port. Finally, driving past the Estación de Francia, make our way back to the Gothic Quarter.
