Overview:
Explore Barcelona on an eco-friendly Segway and experience the city in a different way. The private 2-hour tour takes you along the seafront to see Barceloneta Park, the History Museum of Cataluña, Plaza Colon, and the Columbus Monument.
Description:
Following a short orientation session, set off from Mapfre Tower and the Arts Hotel, the 2 skyscrapers facing the Mediterranean Sea off the promenade. Continue along the walkway to Plaza del Mar.
Marvel at the contemporary design of the W Hotel, and pause to take photos of the city skyline. Retrace your steps to Plaza del Mar, and glide down Paseo Juan de Borbon to the port. Pass the History Museum of Cataluña en route to Plaza Pau Vila, Moll de la Fusta and Plaza Colon, site of the Columbus Monument.
Return along Moll de la Fusta, passing the striking new headquarters of the Gas Natural Group. Then, it’s time to enjoy the tranquility of Barceloneta Park, where an elevated path provides views of Barcelona Zoo, and the gasometer left behind as a reminder of the area’s industrial past. Back on the seaside walkway, make you way back to the starting point at Mapfre Tower and the Arts Hotel.
