This highly personalized tour from Barcelona allows you to spend a day exploring the fine wines and vineyards of Penedes. You’ll be picked up from your Barcelona hotel at 09:00 and whisked away for a day touring some of Catalonia’s most famed vineyards and wineries.
Penedés, only 45 minutes from Barcelona, is the home of Torres winery, one of the largest Spanish wine producers. You can choose to visit Torres, as well other well-known vineyards, like Codorniu or Freixenet. You can also visit small family wineries like Pares Balta or Cavas Nadal, producers of both wine and cava, or a modern winery, such as Jean Leon.
Indulge in wine tastings and winery tours before settling down to a traditional 3-course lunch, with wine and coffee included.
On this personalized tour, you can arrange for optional extras, such as transport in a Mercedes or BMW, or request a visit to a 3rd winery or to stunning Montserrat Abbey in the mountains. Your tour can be completely private, and you can request visits to specific wineries.
When your touring is complete, head back to Barcelona by about 18:00.

•Wineries visited will depend on availability and your personal preferences. You can suggest any winery you may want to visit and the supplier will endeavor to accommodate your suggestions.
•Sundays are not the best days for visiting wineries since many are closed. Some wineries are also closed on Saturdays. Excursions on those days can still be arranged, but with a more limited winery selection.
•Although this is a private tour, the supplier cannot guarantee that the winery visit will be just for your group unless specifically requested. Please let the supplier know if you prefer to have a private tour and tasting.
•Usually you will taste 2 wines on each winery; more extensive tastings can be included.
