Barcelona’s Hospital de Sant Pau is the world’s largest Art Noveau complex. It was built in 2 phases, with the first beginning in 1902.
The second phase of construction was completed in 1930. The complex occupies 9 blocks in the Eixample neighborhood. It comprises 27 pavilions decorated with amazing domes, roofs, façades, sculptures, and stained glass windows. The main building is connected with the others by subterranean corridors.
Note that it’s important that you respect the date and time of the visit or you won’t be allowed to enter the monument.
